As founder of High Tech Media, Dave's goal is to work together with our clients to deliver superior multimedia
content at reasonable price points. Dave Kaplowitz has over 25 years of experience in the Technology,
Media, and Telecommunications Industries. He is skilled in product development, media production, marketing,
and business development. Previously he spent over 11 years with AMD, a leading semiconductor manufacturer, in various roles
including software development, strategic alliance management, and business development. At AMD he won numerous
awards for his contribution to initiatives essential to AMD’s business. He has also been a consultant to various
multinational companies including Motorola and IBM. He is currently producing a documentary on Supercomputing and how it
impacts science and influences everyday life.
Dave is a lifelong musician with skills in saxophone, guitar, and vocals. He has composed, produced and engineered
numerous music projects as well as music and sound for video. He is also an avid scuba diver with a passion for big
animals and shark conservation. He has traveled the world to dive with sharks including in South Africa, the Bahamas,
and Mexico. He also practices yoga and meditation and at one time held teacher certifications from the Kundalini
Research Institute and the American Yoga Alliance.
Dave recently completed his Masters degree in Counseling from St. Edwards University in Austin with a 4.0 GPA. He
specializes in working with couples that have difficulty with anger and aggression. Dave is in the process of
starting his private practice and has produced numerous documentaries and instructional videos on counseling
and relationships. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
